The Chief Executive Officer of Supply Chain and Operations at Unilever Global, Willem Uijen, announced during the morning presidential conference of President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo the investment of 8 billion pesos for the construction of a plant in Salinas Victoria, Nuevo León.

Uijen detailed that this amount is part of a 30 billion pesos investment plan that the company intends to carry out in Mexico between 2025 and 2028. The 8 billion pesos allocated for the plant in Nuevo León adds to the 8 billion that Unilever had already invested in its construction. Additionally, the plant in Salinas Victoria will incorporate cutting-edge technologies, energy efficiency, and sustainability innovation, thereby consolidating Unilever's commitment to adopting environmentally friendly practices and efficiency in its industrial operation.
